The Danube Office Ulm/Neu-Ulm was set up in 2002. The office is a non-profit private limited company in the cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm and acts as a project agency for inter-regional cooperation in the neighbouring towns and cities on the Danube. Within the framework of civil activities, municipal projects and EU projects in the areas of education, administration and ecology, the Danube Office Ulm/Neu-Ulm supports contact and exchange within the Danube region. Thereby, we focus on the transfer of technology and inter-communal exchange of knowledge. We offer a platform for different actors, organizations and institutions of the Danube region, we offer a service centre, our “Haus der Donau“, for citizens as well as a Danube internet portal.
The Danube office Ulm focuses on the International Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm, organized every second year. The objective of the International Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm is the connection of the cities and the peoples along the Danube. As a cultural and culinary showcase of the Danube countries, the festival is supposed to offer authentic concerts, theatre, dance, literature and exhibitions to broad levels of the population. For politicians and scientists it serves as meeting point and exchange platform and attracts 300.000 visitors every second year . 10 Countries – 10 Days – 10 Stages – 1 Festival.
